Why ‘My Little Deers’?
Starting this blog tortured my sleep so many nights I original wanted to call it 3amMum. This was at a time when we were trying to conceive a third child. We have two gorgeous boys and felt the odds were fairly high to have another blue baby. Of course we love our children madly and wouldn’t change them for the world {and we are grateful for even having children}, but my husband and I felt we would like to experience a ‘little pink’ in our family.
I have been consulting a Chinese doctor to help swing the chances. You will have to read further into the pages to see why ‘deers’ are so relevant here!
Since having the time to sit and actually start writing this I am now six weeks pregnant with an exiting wait to see if we will soon have a little Miss or little Mister following in our footsteps.
Mummy Deer
I love being a wife and mother. I am totally committed to nurturing my little family. I hate to be away from any of them. They are my life.
I am usually a highly organised person, but I have unfilled baby books taunting me from my bedside bookshelf. I felt I needed a place to record our family life and share my tips and tricks to an organised and fun life, all done with a little style and amusement. I hope you enjoy reading my little quips, stories and thoughts. You can also see the things I love at www.StylishLittleMe.com.au.
The ‘Buck’
Daddy deer is the really fun one, there’s such a buzz as soon as he pulls his car up the drive in the evenings! Self employed, hard working, ambitious, supportive, loving and fun. He is highly ethical in every aspect of his life and therefore those lucky enough to have crossed his path have a great respect for him. I am trying to convince him to take his own page here and give daddies view of things!
My Little Deers
Sebastian. 4 years old. Independent from very young, well mannered (most of the time), enjoys a Montessori education, great problem solver, bright, healthy and has lots of friends he loves to play with in the park.
Aston. 2 years old. Angel face, with a dimpled smile, he knows what he wants and has a high pitched squeal to ensure you help him get it! Still doesn’t babble much more than ‘mum mum’ and ‘dada’, he just grunts at his brother!
Here we are on Vomo Island Fiji, July 2011…

BEAUTIFUL family. I agree with you about Daddy Deer…he is very ethical and kind. It’s too bad our agendas didn’t jive better and we could get to know you all better. So when you travel to Canada, or we get Down Under….
